How do I book a Forever Linked appointment in Athens?

Tap Book on any page to grab a time on our live calendar. We do private one-on-one welds, taste testings if you're still deciding, and re-welds for current clients. Weekend slots and anything around UGA game days, bid day and graduation fill up first — booking 1–2 weeks ahead is the safest bet.

How far in advance should I book?

For a regular weekday try a few days out. For Saturdays, sorority bid day weeks, GameDay, Mother's Day, graduation and the run-up to wedding season, plan on 1–3 weeks. Private parties and bridal groups should reach out a month or more ahead so we can hold the date.

Do you take walk-ins?

We're appointment-only so every guest gets one-on-one time. The fastest way in is to grab the next open slot online — we keep same-day and next-day availability whenever we can.

Where are you located in Athens, GA?

We're based in Watkinsville, Georgia and serve the greater Athens area — Watkinsville, Bogart, Jefferson, Winder, Monroe and the UGA community. The exact appointment address is sent in your booking confirmation. We also pop up around town and travel for private parties.

How long does a permanent jewelry appointment take?

Solo appointments usually run 20–30 minutes from picking your chain to walking out welded. Pairs and small groups (best friends, mom + daughter, couples) take a little longer — we never rush the fitting.

How should I prep for my appointment?

Accepted Answer

Come with the area clean and lotion-free (especially wrists and ankles). Wear something easy to push up a sleeve or pant leg. If you're getting a necklace, a low neckline or a top you can pull aside helps a ton.

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Card, tap-to-pay (Apple Pay / Google Pay) and cash at appointments and popups. For private parties we can set up an individual checkout per guest so everyone pays for their own piece.

Does permanent jewelry hurt?

Accepted Answer

Not even a little. There's no needle and no heat on your skin — we weld the chain itself, never you. Most people describe it as a tiny click and a quick flash of light, and it's done.

Can my friend and I get matching pieces?

All the time — best friends, sisters, moms + daughters, couples and bridal parties are basically our love language. Book back-to-back slots or a small private party and we'll coordinate matching chains, charms or initials.

What ages can get permanent jewelry?

Accepted Answer

We weld guests 8 and up. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver, and clients under 14 must be accompanied by an adult who's there for the whole appointment.

Can I bring my own chain or charm?

Accepted Answer

We weld with our own chains so we can stand behind the quality and the fit, but you're welcome to bring sentimental charms (initials, heirloom pieces, birthstones) and we'll connect them in if they're compatible.

Is permanent jewelry real gold?

Accepted Answer

Yep. Our Signature line is solid .925 sterling silver, our Luxe line is 14k gold-filled (a thick layer of real 14k gold bonded over a jeweler's brass core — about 100x thicker than gold-plated), and our Forever Collection is solid 14k gold. Our Classic line is stainless steel with a gold PVD finish.

Will my permanent jewelry tarnish?

Our 14k gold-filled and solid gold pieces are tarnish-resistant and built for daily wear in Georgia humidity. Sterling silver can naturally darken over time and polishes right back up with a soft cloth. Try to rinse after pool days, hot tubs and salt water.

With normal wear, most clients keep theirs on for years — 2 to 5+ is typical before any maintenance. Solid gold from the Forever Collection is built to be heirloom-level.

Can I shower, sleep and swim in it?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that's the whole point. Sleep, shower, sweat, swim, dance through a Saturday in downtown Athens. We just recommend rinsing after chlorine and salt water and being a little gentle around big snags.

Is permanent jewelry safe for sports and the gym?

Accepted Answer

Totally. Our chains have a built-in safety break, so if something extreme happens (think weight bar or a stuck zipper) the chain gives instead of your skin. Day-to-day workouts, lifting, Pilates, running and yoga are all fair game.

Can permanent jewelry go through TSA?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The pieces are tiny and light, so they almost never set off airport security. If you're ever asked to remove it for a scan, a quick snip with scissors is all it takes — come see us when you're back and we'll re-weld it.

What if my jewelry breaks?

Accepted Answer

If it breaks at the weld spot within 48 hours of your appointment, bring it back and we'll re-weld it free. After that, re-welds are $10 at any Athens popup or appointment. We can't replace or refund lost chains — once it's on you, it's part of your everyday life.

Can permanent jewelry be removed?

Accepted Answer

Anytime, with one snip of small scissors — no damage to your skin. Lots of clients clip for surgery, MRIs or travel, then come back to re-weld.

How much does welded jewelry cost in Athens?

Accepted Answer

Welded rings are $25 across all three tiers. Bracelets start at $50 in Classic (stainless & gold PVD), $65 in Signature (.925 sterling silver) and $90 in Luxe (14k gold-filled). Is the price per piece or by the inch?

Per finished piece. The price you see is what you pay — chain, custom fit and weld included. Necklaces over 18" and body chains over 32" have a small per-inch upcharge that we walk you through before we cut.

Yes — we travel up to 60 miles from Athens for private parties, weddings, brand activations and popups across Northeast Georgia. Travel fee depends on distance and group size.
